Hello, when I set example +50 core clock then start gaming on 1460mhz the temps are around 55c with msi afterburner on screen display then after like 20 minutes it says that the core clock goes to 540mhz while the temps rise to 67c any help fix?
From what I see it happens in 1 game only and after some hours it doesnt even happen... weird... its 650W but i will change a lots of compoments this year
it might just be the game and the way its coded. like i would have Frame rate drops in GTA5 on some points, but on other games i get smooth ass gameplay
Ok which are your specs and you have fps drop in gta v?
Motherboard: 990FXA-UD3 ver 4.1 CPU: AMD FX(tm)-9590 eight core processor
4.7GGHz (5.0GHz) turbo boost Ram: 2 8GB DDR3 Team Elite, GPU: AMD R9 290
4GB PSU:ThermalTake smart series 650W
And yes, when im like driving in the city, or around certain areas i get like a small stutter which drop my frams down to like 45fps. It urks my soul sometimes.
Temps? Probobly you have slow hdd or virtual memory is enabled cause it uses to much ram (on my pc gta v uses 7,7gb)
it's def not the temps, i just applied thermal paste.... 33C idle and 70C under stress. Well my HDD is a toshiba 2TB. i am going to disable the viruual memory to see if that helps.. enough about me though, lets help you out, lol.
