Hi all, not sure if this is the right place for this, but I figure someone can help.

I'm trying to get an FPS/GPU/CPU overlay when gaming. I followed a tutorial using MSI Afterburner and Riva.

When I use it, it says that it can't connect to the Riva update server, and the only thing that shows up on the overlay is the time clock.

Is this a known issue I can fix, or is there different software I can use?

Which version of Afterburner are you trying to work with?

I just downloaded it last night, (not the beta) and when I hit the update button, it said I had the latest one. Just dunno what the actual version number is, I'm at work on my phone.

The Afterburner works fine, it's just that the Riva portion can't connect, which I assume is why I only get a time clock (I did select that in Afterburner, along with FPS and GPU usage/temps)

Is there anything else that will give me an overlay besides Afterburner/Riva?

Hi,

Does the RTSS overlay not work anymore ? Please kindly try to perform a full uninstall of RTSS and AfterBurner (with all profiles removed), and then perform a CLEAN install of it.

I'll give that a try, and try the beta version if that doesn't work.

And I don't know if the RTSS is just plain not working, it does overlay the time clock, just nothig else I selected.
