EDIT: I uninstalled the drivers using DDU instead of amd cleanup utilities and now MSI afterburn works just fine.

After replacing the fans of my R9 290 tri-x with fans from the XFX SWFT rx 6700 xt, msi afterburner stopped giving any information whatsoever. HWmonitor only shows GPU utilization and memory.
I can control the fans just fin in the amd radeon software and the temperature seems correct, but I want to use MSI afterburner as well. Any solution? Can't seem to find many info about it online smh

"This:

Why both?

My thought is that using both (or trying to use both) may be contradictory or causing some conflict.

The fan change(s) could also be a factor with respect to msi afterburner no longer giving information.

And you could end up going in even bigger circles if problems develop.

I recommend staying with the AMD Radeon software. All the more so if the temperatures, fan speeds, etc. are controllable and seem correct.

Keep it simple. Anything else may mask a problem until it is too late....

Just my thoughts on the matter.
