MSI Afterburner Not Showing Fan Speed

When I play fortnite or other games I would like to just ramp my fans up to the highest settings right from the get go. However, afterburner is not letting me change my fan speeds or even showing them for that matter. I have an MSI GS60 Ghost 4k with a 970m graphics card. I have also tried using nvidia to no avail. I ALSO dont think my right side fan is running, which is why I started trying to identify if both fans are being read by the computer. Do you know of better apps to download in order to see the status of my fans?

Being a laptop it could be that the GPU shares a fan with the CPU cooler.

It's not to do with better apps, because MSI is the definitive app to have.
Your Card probably doesn't support fan monitoring.
You could always email the manufacturer asking them about fan speed and monitoring, since it is their product.
