MSI AfterBurner Problem (Fan Speed)

I have been gaming for quite sometime with high end video cards. My problem recently started when I closed msi afterburner to be able to play BF4. So when I put load on my GPU it gets hot and the fans cool it BUT I'm not sure if the fan speed is relative to my settings in MSI AF Also I must note the main problem is the visuals of the program (I.E. Fan Speed(%) ) Doesnt change while everything else does... The Fans speed up but I dont know to what % Because MSI AF doesnt show it changing.

Did you uncheck the Auto button and hit apply?
If it's on auto, i'm pretty sure the little bar doesn't move, but the graphs on the right side will show fan speed.
And did you CLOSE it (X) or minimize it? (-) Closing it will end the program, minimizing it keep it running.
