MSI afterburner question.. never used

When I downloaded it said next that Riva statistics server is now available for download. When I click the link, it takes me to a drivers update page..... Im not a fan of drivers update pages because of scams.... Is that the only way to get afterburner to show framerates?

if you are not a fan of drivers pages then where do you get your drivers from? do you even update your drivers?

I don't like 3rd party drivers update. I manually update. But the question is do I need to in order to use afterburner? Has anyone else done it or remember doing it? I just need to check framerates and it seems like I need RIva

what is the website it brings you too? it may be a MSI branded version of the software you normally get from that website

that site is a popular gaming site but you can always go back to the MSI website to download it too. i wouldn't be sure if they keep the software as updated as the site it directed you too though

Ok, thanks.. On that page what download do I need run? THe one that says driver update?? I didn't see a Riva download

Got it, nevermind. It was an AD for driver update. the actual drivers were below. thanks again
