Msi Afterburner Voltage Not working

When I try to change the voltage in afterburner it doesn't change until a certain point and only steps to 1.205 and 1.230 from the stock 1.187 nothing in between and it only seems to change when the slider is in a general area not above a certain number and doesn't seem to increase stability in heaven benchmark


GPU gigabyte 980ti g1 gaming

I did its on extended msi i also have kernel mode and all others checked in that category except for constant voltage

i did same thing happened in precision x is my voltage locked? cause i would have thought it wouldn't go up at all if that was the case

k i did some reading online and it looks like that model does have a locked voltage. if you really want to unlock it their is probably a modified bios for it somewhere on the internet.

that sucks you would think a custom pcb card would let you at least tweak it a little not going down the modded bios path just yet
