MSI afterburner vs. msi gaming app?

does msi afterburner show cpu speed, because i cant find it anywhere, it shows cpu usage and temprature

and does msi gaming app do anything msi afterburner doesnt

and how else can i find my cpu speed

It shows CPU speed just fine, though it might not be exactly what you're expecting (might default to the max Turbo value for example which may be a few 100MHz below what you expect such as an overclock to "4.4GHz" may run all four cores at roughly 4.1GHz.

I don't use either, so I'm not sure if Afterburner is primarily for showing on-screen data while gaming and the Gaming app for setting things up. Maybe the Gaming app is meant to replace Afterburner. I'm sure someone else knows.

The "gaming app" does have certain settings like "eye rest", "movie mode" so you can read the MANUAL for both tools and see if you care about any of those features.
