Hi there, been putting together a PC and been having trouble though unsure of exactly what is causing it. Basically when i boot the PC, nothing seems to happen and I get a blank screen. Here's the build:
Mobo: MSI B150 Gaming M3
CPU: Intel i5-6600, LGA1151 3.3Ghz
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LFX, 2X4GB
PSU: Corsair RM650
No GPU at the moment, short on cash and was just planning on using it to surf the net and a little besides before i could afford to get a decent GPU.
So when i boot, the lights on the board turn on, and all the fans start running, but there is a series of LED's, one of which turns on solidly until i turn off the pc, and its the CPU LED. I get no video output from either the HDMI or the VGA from the back of the motherboard I/O, i have also tried with my friends graphics card in (GTX770) and no luck there either. Its hard to try swapping out components due to the fact that i don't know anyone who has a mobo with the same socket type or DDR4 adapted motherboards.
The manual does not explain sufficiently what the LED means and so I am a little lost, and would greatly appreciate even just a point in the right direction,
Thanks in advanced
