Msi b350 gaming bro. Ez dubug led stuck on VGA. Help

Hi. I've just put together a pc for my mum.
Msi b350 gaming pro
Ryzen 3 1200.
Gtx 1050 ti gaming x
Hyper predator 2x4gb
120gb Kinston SSD.
Coolmaster 500w PSU
Coolmaster 5 RGB case.

I've put it all together but cant get display the lights, leds and fans power up. But cant get display. Tried VGA and HDMI. The ez dubug says vga. But cant figure out why.
I've removed and swapped ram ports. Also tried without the graphics card.
Can't update the bios as I can't get it on.
I'm plugging it up to a TV not a monitor. That surely can't be the problem can it?
Stressing me out. My mum thinks I've done something wrong but I really can't see it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi, Test only with graphics card installed and check the 6 pin PCIe connection to it.
The tv has to be connected to the graphics card, not to the motherboard,

So leave the ram off as well? Surely that would cause it to not boot as well? I'll try it though and get back to you

RAM inserted. The "only with graphics card" referred to "Also tried without the graphics card. "
