MSI B350 PC Mate RAM Question

So for my build I am planning on getting the MSI B350 PC Mate with the AM4 socket, and under the compatible RAM speeds it lists 2133, 2400, 2993 and 3200MHz as compatible. However, the RAM I want to use is 16GB of Team Dark 3000MHz RAM. My question is, will the motherboard slow down the RAM to 2993 to make it compatible? Will 3000MHz work without changes? Or will the RAM not be compatible at all? Thanks in advance

Yah RAM is shady at best. Most manufacturers claim that it will run at "x" speed with "official" XMP profiles. (this is mostly sales patter) XMP usually = BSOD or non post unless you tweak manually. If they claim it to be 3000...then it will probably run at 2400 on an AM4 tops. Just remember that you get what you pay for with RAM.
