Question MSI B350M Mortar + Ryzen 1600 hangs with SVM enabled ?

Long story short, due to a software issue, I am trying to enable virtualization on my B350m motherboard and 1600x CPU system.

Historically, I've no previous issues with this rig I built years ago, but when I enable SVM via the BIOS and attempt to reboot, the system just hangs at the Windows 10 boot logo. I am using Windows 10 Pro.

I was under the impression the hardware fully supports hardware virtualization, so does anyone know what the problem could be?

specifically about the UMA part. Now would be a good time to check and see what BIOS version you're on at the time of writing. If you have a number of BIOS updates pending, gradually work your way to the latest version then try enabling SVM.

I powered up my PC with SVM enabled in BIOS today and it mysteriously booted fine. Makes no sense whatsoever.
