Hi guys,
I have an Msi carbon pro ac b450, i never updated my bios and it was the first bios installed in 2018 until now, i decided to update my bios to a newer version released date 2019-11-13.
Once the update was done, everything is fine, just my UEFI went to basic legacy +UEFI and after changing it to UEFI also, it remained in the legacy looks.
i used my flash drive formated in fat32.
how can i get back my UEFI back...
im using w10

Solution
yeah exactly what happened, i have 2600 cpu, how can i go back to the click bios 5 .. is it necessary or i just leave it like that, i dont really get into bios anyway
thanks

It's not necessary, no. And performance improvements that come in BIOS updates offset the minor inconvenience of it being a little harder to navigate.

You may or may not be able to downgrade the BIOS, some manufacturers specifically stated you couldn't once you implemented #X BIOS, but I don't see it specifically mentioned on the product page for that board.

Even if you could downgrade though, I wouldn't.

Do you mean that it 'looks' more legacy?

As of BIOS v. 7B85v17:

Basically, the ROM chip is too small to hold the full-fat modern MSI BIOS and support 3000 series CPUs, so cutbacks were made.
