Question MSI B450 gaming carbon motherboard still a hit or miss with Ryzen 3600?

I was wondering if the B450 is still not exactly working well with the ryzen 3600 CPUs since I saw 5 month old posts explaning all the difficulties in updating the BIOS so are the motherboards updated to the newest BIOS now since they are still manufacturing it or is it going to be a 50% chance of not working. To avoid any confusion, look for the Max series of boards from MSI to confidently drop a 3000 series processor into your motherboard, provided you haven't purchased the board/parts yet.

I think I am capable of updating the BIOS but do you think I would need an old gen CPU to update it since some people said that

I would want to get the B450 max but it wouldn't look nice with the case
