My build so far:

So I watched this video from Gamer's Nexus and I already purchased this board below: x470 gaming pro carbon for its "good" vrms and relatively cheap price but theres no bios flashback and I got no idea how long its going to take for AMD to send me a temporary chip which is too big a headache for me to deal with right now as well as a lot of people on various forums and sites seem to be having problems with the x470 board....

I'm 80/20 on returning that board to get a MSI b450 gaming pro ac or tomahawk just so I can easily update the bios and have less problems but it'll cost more.

Option B:
msi b450 gaming pro carbon ac
https://www.newegg.ca/msi-performance-gaming-b450-gaming-pro-carbon-ac/p/N82E16813144188?

Option C:
msi b450 tomahawk
https://www.newegg.ca/msi-arsenal-gaming-b450-tomahawk/p/N82E16813144189?

Alternatively I could jump over to x570 but besides bios updating, I've no need for these boards so I'm not too sure.
Here's a spreadsheet I'm also looking at for reference alongside partpicker's compatibility list.

Any help/opinions would be much appreciated.

I'd say get the Tomahawk - it's a pretty reliable little board, and if it has BIOS Flashback as you say, then it'll solve your compatibility issue as well.

P.S: That spreadsheet needs to be publicly accessible for us to see it, right now it shows access denied.
