Hi everyone,

I'm looking to complete a Ryzen build in the next few months, currently sourcing parts. I want to do a mATX build, so will be limited to b450m boards. I can get a Bazooka motherboard quite cheap at the moment, about £60. The 2600 and 1700 I can get for £150 and I will get aftermarket cooling for the CPU.

Which is the better option primarily for gaming and would the board be good enough for either with a good overclock to roughly 4ghz, depending on the silicone lottery of course.

Thanks,

Mark

Will the motherboard be good enough for a solid overclock?

I know the SoC mosfets do not have any passive cooling, but I could buy two 20mm x 20mm heatsinks to stick on them for a bit of help. Would that even be required?
