[SOLVED] MSI B450M Gaming Plus video card error when coming out of sleep

I just upgraded my computer a couple days ago, and for the most part it's working well. However, there's one major kink I haven't yet worked out. When I let my computer go into sleep mode, and then try to wake it up, I get no signal on either monitor. Eventually the bootup stalls and I get one long beep followed by two short, indicating and error with the video card. At this point I have to shut my computer down and restart it, after which it boots up fine.

There doesn't seem to truly be a problem with the card, though. For one, I've checked to make sure it's properly seated. But more than that, this error only occurs when waking my PC up from sleep. If I shut it down before restarting it, everything works as it should. I've spent several hours playing games on my PC since the upgrade, including there recent Resident Evil 3 remake, so the video card is working as it should.

Here are my specs:

Motherboard: MSI B450M Gaming Plus
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
GPU: Gigabyte Radeon RX 5600 XT
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-3200 16GB x 1
SSD: SanDisk SSD Plus 120 GB 2.5" (disk on which OS is isntalled)
HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200 RPM
PSU: Corsair CX550M 550W
OS: Windows 10 64-Bit

Before installing the motherboard, I made sure to flash the BIOS so it would support the more recent CPU. I neglected installing the drivers that came with the motherboard, so I thought that might be the issue, but after installing them the issue persists. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Dr. Cornhofg,

I would suggest taking out the GPU, cleaning the contacts and putting them back in. If that doesn't work, try updating your BIOS.
