Hi, I recently bought the MSI B450M MORTAR with Ryzen 5 2600 and a set 16GB of HyperX Fury 8Gb HX426C16FB2/8.

The problem is that when I installed the RAMs (Kingston HyperX Fury 8G 2666 - HX426C16FB2/8) on dual channel DIMMA2 and DIMMB2 (which is recommended by the Mobo) my windows crashes every 5-10 minutes.

Checking the memory with memtest86 (with each RAM on all slot from A1 to B2) I have found out that only the DIMMA2 slot errors my RAM (9000+ in just 5-6 minutes of testing). The other slots show no error on both RAM.
I have inserted both RAM on DIMMA1, DIMMB1 and the RAMs are OK.
I inserted a different RAM (CORSAIR 16GB 2666) on the mainboard DIMMA2 slot and It appears that it works fine and show no error in memtest. BIOS version of the board is 7B89v14 (which is also recommended).

I also posted on MSI forum on this link: https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=320063.0 but there was not much of help.

Is there anyway I can use both HyperX RAM on DIMMA2 and DIMMAB2. Please advice.

RAM slot is fine as I tried another the RAM it shows no error (CORSAIR 16GB). Are you sure that using both A1 and B1 would not make the RAM running in dual channel? Isnt it either slot 1-3, or 2-4 for dual channel? Or am i missing something?

Sorry, meant A2 and B2 are only choices for dual channel and doesn't matter in which order and under which numbers are on the MB, it's manual should clearly show exact ones.

I am using DIMMA1 and DIMMB1 atm because DIMMA2 error the RAM. It shows that my ram is running in dual channel, correct?
