Question MSI B450M RAM compatibility

I was browsing for a new motherboard and stumbled across the b450m Mortar. I watched some reviews and thought it was the perfect board for me.
I have already purchased AMD compatible ram from g.skill (F4-2400c15d-16gfxr), knowing it would be compatible with any AMD motherboard I purchased.
However, upon double checking the RAM qvl list of both the board on the MSI website and g.skill’s website I found it wasn’t on either.
I am building with a ryzen 5 1600.

My questions are:
1) Will it boot and run fine?
2)since it is advertised as AMD compatible, does it have a higher chance of working with no issues?
3) If 1 is yes, then will it run at it’s rated frequency?

1. It is not under QVL list, but it does not mean it wont run normally.
2. Probably?
3. In theory yes, unless as stated has XMP you will have to manually enable it in bios settings.
