[SOLVED] MSI B550 won't post or go to BIOS

I just finished putting together a new build with the following specs:

Ryzen 5800x
MSI B550 Gaming Carbon
Corsair Vengeance RAM (4x8gb)
Corsair AIO
Corsair QL120 fans x6
Radeon R9 390 Sapphire Nitro (I know, I know, lol)
EVGA 750W Gold+ PSU

I flashed the BIOS to version 7C90v17 (the most recent stable release) with a bare Mobo, which seemingly worked. After that I finished the build, plugged in my SSD that will serve as a boot drive and my USB windows installer (created with the Windows 10 media creation tool). However, nothing happens on power up. All the fans turn on, all the components that have RGB built in light up, but I get nothing displayed on my monitors. I tried powering on with the USB in different ports but get nothing. I also tried booting to BIOS (del) or the Boot menu (F11) and neither of these work -- I presume because my keyboard isn't recognized for about 10-20 seconds into the boot (the LEDs don't turn on until then). The Boot Debug LED is lit at power up, but turns off after 20-30 seconds.

I'm not sure what to do or what the next steps in troubleshooting should be, given that I can't get into BIOS or the boot menu. Doing a CMOS clear doesn't seem helpful because I have to flash the BIOS for my CPU to work. I don't have any other AMD CPUs or PC computers. Any help would be much appreciated!

Sorry, Just updated with a full component list. I do have a GPU, just laughably old 😅.
Have you reset CMOS? It IS helpful...essential even...after flashing a new BIOS since there may be lingering settings that can mess up the initialization process.

If it still doesn't boot to BIOS after resetting CMOS then try flashing BIOS again using flashback. Be sure to carefully follow all the steps, and observe the quirks.

This is the video I actually used to do the flash! I did not know that about the CMOS though. Good to know and I'll give it a try then. Thank you for the suggestion and info!

Yeah... it was a pretty good video when I first saw it. The process is quirky and utterly simplistic, you have to follow all steps perfectly and even then it can take a couple times for it to take. Probably the pointer on using ALL CAPS for naming the file was the most useful to me.
