This is my first build and the pc randomly restarts.

After swapping out GPUs and PSUs and testing ram. I'm stumped.

More research shows I might have chosen the wrong CPU for this board. Pc parts picker said they were compatible but now looking at more sources it seems they are not compatible.

Sooooo.... my question is rather there is a custom bios available to run the 2600x on this mobo or am I going to have to cut my losses and get a 450 mobo or 3600x cpu?

Solution
I was finally able to get it to boot to safe mode and changing the max CPU to 99% worked. So far no random restarts - I'll update this thread if something changes.
99% disables cpu boost, which can reduce performance a bit

with this app you can use cpu boost through p1 and p2 profiles px profiles probably wont work, its for zen2 or better
p1 profile is low threaded cpu boost (max cpu clock with few cpu cores)
P2 profile is all core boost (lower cpu clock)
