Question MSI b75a-g43 pci-e lanes sharing

Hello everyone.

My motherboard is MSI b75a-g43. I run a GTX 1080 with an 3770k CPU, mostly for video production. I want to install this PCI-E SATA 3 card which takes 8 pci-e lanes:
SAS9211-8I 8PORT Int 6GB Sata+SAS Pcie 2.0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002RL8I7M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WY5DDb9A87W32

Will it steal lanes from video card if I run 1-3 SSDs or HDDs from this card? Will the video card's performance be lowered in any way?

Second PCIe x16 slot does not support the card's Host Interface PCI Express x8

Second PCIe 2.0 x16 slot
- PCI_E4 supports up to PCIe 2.0 x4 speed

Oh, thanks, I didn't notice that. Will the card give me 4 lanes of plugged into that slot, or it won't work at all?
