MSI B85M-E45 compatibility with i5 4460 without bios update?

As per title,will this mobo i5 4460 without bios update?
MSI website has listed this processor as compatible, so i want to make sure it does not need bios update. Experienced opinion will be helpfull.

If motherboard not older than 1.5 years, it should work without a BIOS update.

I want to make sure,or else should i go with MSI H97 PC mate MOBO for to be safe.

I don't think that the retailer would have such old stock of motherboards.
You can't be sure, unless knowing in advance the board's serial number.
The H97 PC Mate does support it with the very first BIOS version.
