Hello
So I have upgraded my computer to a msi bazooka b350m (mobo) and ryzen 3 1200 (cpu) and I didn't format my ssd, wich my friend (who had the same build) has done and worked just fine. But after I put everything together, I turned the pc on and the CPU EZ debug LED lit up and the screen was black.
I looked up online and noticed that that is a very common problem and people said that the BIOS was probably old and didn't support ryzen CPUs, but how am I supposed to update it if the screen is black?

My build is:
-MSI BAZOOKA B350M
-Ryzen 3 1200
-1 stick of 8gb RAM
-GTX 1060
-600 W PSU

Anyway, if anybody could help me with this ASAP I would be eternaly greatful.
Thanls for the attention!

This is why I wish all mainboards let you flash without CPU or RAM installed. Like Asus USB Flashback. This sort of problem has existed for many years in the DIY PC world.

Edit: If what Mazboy said is true, then it isn't the BIOS. Definitely check cables and where the RAM is slotted. Ditto for the GPU, might want to reseat it carefully and check all connections there.

I feel stupid now...
There was a paper inside the box that the mobo came in that said in bold words:
"PUT THE RAM STICK IN THIS SLOT OR THE COMPUTER WILL NOT WORK"
I put the stick in that slot and the PC booted normally...
Sorry............
