-MSI GD-53
-Antec high current gamer 620w
-Sapphire 6950 2gb GDDR5
-Intel i5 2500k Sandybridge
-8gb 2x4 Corsair Vengeance
-1Tb HDD 7200rpm

Problem:-

When trying to boot the pc powers on (all fans and lights) no signal on the monitor, after a few seconds it powers off on its own and then switches back on. After 30 seconds of the pc rebooting itself everything stays on but there is no signal on screen.

This is a new build that was running perfectly but I've encountered this problem. I think that the problem lies with the mobo, can I sort this issue myself or does the board need to be returned or is it more likely to be a different component causing the problem?

Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,

Kane.

Boot with one memory stick
Make sure you the 8pin power is connected to the motherboard
Have you connected your 6-8 pin power to your video card?
Take out the battery from your motherboard then pop it back in after a few secs

Again Msi mobo not going to Post.
ah... i read a lot about this. probably bios problem. most of msi mobo got this problem with Vga and i can see your are using 6950.
i cant tell about 90% its because of bios and the problem is with VGA or 10% RAM incompatibility.
you should upgrade bios.Get another vga and boot up and upgrade bios via Live Update(its safe and easy).
also as "redeemer" said use 1 stick memory for now.( the dimm near cpu ). hope it works ;)
