MSI charging issue

I got my laptop screen repaired today after a year of it not being used and since then I have used it just fine, the charger I have was a cheap one off ebay which barely fit in the laptop as well as the brick adapter barely fitting in the brick with it coming lose easy. However about an hour ago as I was using it I realised my laptop wasn't charging at all even though during the same session it was charging just fine. Now when I plug my charger in whether off or on it has a high pitched noise bit still not charge, I'm not sure what the issue is but any pointers to fixing it would be appreciated

Where is this noise coming from?

Honestly I would stop using that charger right away, get a universal one at walmart and call it a day.

The noise is coming from inside the laptop itself, it's hard to pinpoint the exact location though
