I have a B350 Tomahawk and a Ryzen 7 1700x. I also have 2x8 3200 DDR4 RAM. I recently got this mobo for cheap and wanted to test its capabilities out. But when I got in the bios, I can only overclock my RAM and not my cpu as you can see in this picture (Yes, I got a discord link because I am to lazy to make an imgur upload) https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/494632626708283393/509904357903302698/20181107_203718.jpg . Any suggestions on what to do?

EDIT: I realized in the picture I took it had the RAM set to 3200, but said it was clocked to 2400. that is because I did not reboot after making those changes.

Suggest updating BIOS to 1H for a Gen 1 processor.

It's telling that version 1B isn't even available on the web page, suggesting maybe something's a bit hooey in the gumbo to make 'em take it down.

Thanks! As I'm not very familiar with this bios, I thought it was pre updated.

Just a guess but 1B is probably the first released BIOS for Ryzen 2000 support which is necessary to boot with that processor. But I seem to remember the first ones had a buggy AGESA package, so that would explain why yours is acting flakey and also why they took it down.

So yes, it was pre-updated but there are later releases that fix problems of the early releases. I suggest using 1H because you have a 1700X processor and the AGESA in it seems to provide better memory support for 1st gen processors.
