MSI Driver updates

I'm a complete noob when it comes to things pc related or driver installations or updates.... So my question is, I recently install MSI Live update 6, does this download all my drivers with a click of a button or is their more to it?

It finds updates for you, but you have to choose to download and install them. Apart from the optional utilities it's good to update all drivers. They don't let you do BIOS through it anymore but I don't think you want to update BIOS anyway.

and i take it drivers are not automatically installed? because i finished building the pc at 2 in the morning and forgot all about installing drivers..... the only reason i remembered was because i bought a Razer headset and i've been having soo many problems.

Although my last headset worked just fine.

No. Windows MAY install some crucial generic drivers, but the first thing you should do when installing an OS is to install drivers either from the manufacturers disc or via an online update tool like Live Update. Scan for drivers and install them all. Should fix any problems.

So with the MSI live update 6 i scanned and installed all drivers a few days ago that showed up, now the problem is i open live update up again and i see the same drivers saying not installed but when you go to history it says it is.

I may have lied, looking at the status alot of them say "Download" i have 1 In completed and 1 installed which is the MB BIOS

Hit Scan again. They should disappear.

Yes, i re scanned and the drivers would still be their, now hitting download again i am actually getting a new window to install chipset device software
