These are all almost the same price..

X370 gaming plus (+10$ pro carbon)
B450 gaming plus
B450m Mortar (+5$ titanium)
B450 Tomahawk
B450m Bazooka (-10/15$)

Looks like m models are smaller with less pci slots. I won't be doing crossfire at any point. Doesn't seem worth it with a rx480, might as well buy the 1 or 2 gen later in the 250-400$ range instead.

My main focus is which board will run the best in general, stay cooler, last longer. I value reliability over features. I won't hook up multiple m.2 drives. I will only have my 2 SSD's, will purchase an m.2 and maybe have my older 1tb hdd, but might not even bother with that now.

I don't care about which usb are better or faster (only use mouse, keyboard, webcam). Don't care about onboard audio or various display connections. I will add water cooling at some point and would like to get into overclocking a little, but I won't oc much (at least not early on).

These all look so similar, I'm leaning towards either the X370 gaming plus for 85$ or 450m mortar or tomahawk both at 99$.

Only interested in MSI, I'm sticking with them until they sell me a bad part for once. Thanks..

Solution
I's go B450 as it is newer than the X370 and The Tomahawk and the Mortar have both been reviewed very well with both achieving good overclocks on Ryzen...Which ever looks better but the Tomahawk does it for me...

Thanks, going to grab the tomahawk. I do like how it's a little more space between the 2 pcie ports and has minor lighting. Will look amazing in my new white case with glass side and rx 480 gaming x. Have the cpu and board now, just need to waste almost 150$ on ram. Wish I could buy 8 now and another 8 later.
