MSI Factory reset taking too long, 5 hours and counting. Any ideas

I did a factory reset on a MSI laptop and its been almost 5 hours. Not sure if it is froze or what. Any ideas on what to do? Now its been 6 hours. Would it mess things up if i turn the laptop off?

If the HD LED is blinking furiously, I would leave it alone, otherwise I would consider it frozen.
