MSI gaming 5 z97 fitted an msi TPM 2.0 module and it will not show up in windows 10, any ideas?

I have bought and fitted an MSI TPM module but it isnt show up in windows 10, my systems security is run by norton 360 but im not sure if that has anything to do with why my TPM module isnt showing up unless its foreign object access measure.

I followed what the instructions said by fitted the module on the header, booted into bios, turned on the TPM settings, saved and resetted into windows, searched online but found no recent updated software as the company said window 8 and 10 should automatically sort any recent problems for me.

I loaded the software from the disk and when I click in the icon for a list of options to come up the one I need to click on 'security platform initialisation' isnt there. And the the warning message comes up saying TPM module cannot be found.

Even when i type in TPM.msc to bring up common console document it isnt show there or in device manager.

Msi support has emailed back saying to reset CMOS.

Other than that i noticed in bios below the two options i could enable there where a few others saying tpm disabled or inactive etc in dark grey that i could not access.

Any experience and advice would be appreciated.

The Cmos reset didnt work, nothing showing up still. Yet in BIOS I know somethings happening as when i dont have the module plugged in no options show to enable TPM. Put the card in and they pop up ( not while its running obviously.

My options are TPM support *Enabled* and TPM state*Enabled*

Under this is dark grey writting which means i cannot access it, it is locked.
