MSI Gaming 7 X99A vs X99S

What are the differences between these? My new system is going to be built with the MSI Gaming 7 X99 but I've seen the two boards, A & S but can't seem to find what the real differences between the two are? What makes the A a bit more expensive than the S? And is it really worth it?

MSI x99s and x99a Gaming 7 boards, difference worth it ?

Features the X99A has (in addition to everything the X99S):

2x USB 3.1 ports (Rear)
2x PCI-E x1
6x USB 3.0 ports (Rear)

Features the X99S has:
8x USB 3.0 ports (Rear)
