MSI Gaming M5 Temperature seems high

Hi all,

I have recently put my computer together and have noticed that there seems to be one temperature reading that is always set extremely high, have seen it in the 120 range before.

Anyone know if this is something to worry about or possibly something defective?

This is not defective it normal it maybe the mosfets what kinda cpu cooler you have? down draft or something else because I had and asrock that had this temp. but it stuck around 95 to 97c.

don`t worry this is a thing that i have noticed on my system about a year ago. on my asus h170 plus-d3 with the main board sensor. are you using hw monitor. because this is just a glitch or something with the program. my system has has had that same 120c reading for a year and a half now is everything is fine. if you are really concerned try touching your cpu heatsink and vrm`s and see if it is to hot to touch
