MSi Gaming M7 Z270

So I have an MSI Gaming M7 Z270 as the title states, and I was wondering if I needed to use both the 8-pin and the 4-pin power connector for my CPU? I'm running an i7-7700k if that helps. Saw another thread with the same question but I wasn't sure if my CPU was classified as power hungry so I wanted to ask.

No. A single 8pin will work nicely for a 7700K.
The extra 4pin is optional. You dont need that unless u are playing with extreme LN2 overclocking.
