Msi Gaming or Gigabytye windforce 780 TI

But gigabyte motherboards have heating problems
so it's advisable to go with MSI

First of all we are talking about two gpus here not motherboards. And i have not heard anything about gigabyte motherboards.
The Msi 770 at full load is maybe ,and i say again maybe, 2 degrees Celsius cooler than the gigabyte.
69 versus 71 to be more accurate based on their reviews.
Other than that the power Consumption and performance is the same.
Both companies have good reputation of customer support.

I meant gpu only -_-

My Gigabyte GTX 770 4GB stays well under 65c when at full load. I perfer the look of the Gigabyte cards, but the MSI cards perform equally or better than the Gigabyte cards. At the time of my purchase the EVGA 770 was $440, the Asus was $420, the MSI was $400, and the Gigabyte was on sale for $360 which is why i went for the Gigabyte. For your purpose, id go with whichever is the cheapest at the time. My only reccomendation is get the 4GB as applications and games are starting to use more and more VRAM. Soon 2GB will not be enough.

780 TI is only 3GB. That's the main downside of this card for me. It outperforms the 4GB 290x on most benchmarks and I'm not feeling like waiting 6 months for a 6GB with custom coolers and dropping prices.

Sorry about that, i completely forgot the 780ti is only 3GB. But I wouldn't bank my decision on the extra 1GB of VRAM unless you plan on keeping this card for 5+ years. If your anything like me, you'll want an upgrade by then anyway. I say go for the 780ti!
