MSI GE72 DC Jack

Hi, my charger exploded and my dc jack caught fire a while back. I sent it in for repair but I recently realised they didn't replace the dc jack recently when I smelt burning.

I don't particularly want to send it in for repair again especially because the shipping was the pain and the DC Jack's pretty easy to replace as it's a cabled one.

My problem is that I can't find a compatible part anywhere. They seem to have all sold out.

I've messaged ebay sellers who have sold parts of anything for the GE72 series asking if they have any DC jacks, but I'm not really sure how else to look for one.

Are there any recommended places online where you can request laptop parts or something?

Ahh no I contacted laptop inventory, to double check that it was the right model because the name of the part changed in checkout and was told that they didn't have the required dc jack. The other 2 are out of stock. But I have since sent a bunch of enquiries and requests for the part on a few difference websites since I posted this. I've gotten one negative reply but hopefully one of them will be able to get the part.

The annoying things is that there are a lot of dc jacks for the GE70 series for about $5 dollars about and they have the same ends, except it's about 5cm longer.

I have to the part on discountedlaptopparts as well just in case.
