I got my MSI 1070ti Gaming and my RM550x power supply from Corsair. I didn't find any compatibility issues and neither did PC parts picker.
Now I got the pieces sitting here on my workbench and I noticed that the 1070ti takes an 8 and a 6 pin PCIe cable, while the PSU has only one 8 pin output, but a cable came with the PSU that takes out of that one 8 pin outlet and splits up into both the ends needed for the GPU. I'm 95% sure that it's fine to use that, but.. you know.. first build and so on. Is it fine?
