[SOLVED] MSI GeForce GT 1030 AERO ITX 2GB OC GPU - 144hz capable? and at what res?

Hi all. My lad has the above card in his win10 PC, and is after a 144Hz monitor to go with it.
Having read (and read some more) about cables, HDMI versions and resolutions vs hz, I remain about 50:50 on whether the card can actually run 1080p at 144Hz.
If any one could shed any light, or tell me they've done it, I'd be very grateful....

Make and model of the monitor that your friend is looking to invest in? Might want to read through this thread and noting the spec sheet for your GPU, the card only has a Single link DVI-D port apart from the HDMI port that rounds up the two display outputs.
