Hello, recently my 3080 stopped working, I sent it in for a RMA and I received a email saying that it was rejected for oxidation on the PCB.
I have only had the GPU for around 5 months, and It was working fine until it just shut off. Is there anyway to fix this, or do I just need to buy a new gpu?

You might want to escalate it. By oxidation, were you able to verify if anything spilled onto the PCB of the GPU?

Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model.

Thanks for responding, I opened the GPU when I got it back today, and its just small part around where u would hookup the cooler, everywhere else seems to be fine in that regard, and I don't use water cooling for the GPU so im not sure how it would only show up there.

I added a picture of what they sent as a proof

Also, I got a new GPU already just to test to see if the pc would run and it still does fine.
