Is that going to be any good MSI GT60 Dominator-424 ,and my buget is 1200$,so do you think it ll be discount in only couple of monthe by 200$ to be perfect to my budget?

I'm looking to get the same laptop, I'm stuck between that one and the Sager NP8268-S but the Dominator looks to have better battery life, and features. From my research there aren't any that will perform better at that price.

I just ordered the Sager NP8268-S. After going back and forth with a few other laptops - I decided on this build:

15.6" Full HD LED-Backlit Display with Matte Finished Surface (1920 x 1080)
Guaranteed no dead or partially-lit pixels for first 30 days of purchasing
Nvidia GeForce GTX 880M GPU with 8GB GDDR5 Video Memory
4th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-4910MQ Processor ( 8MB L3 Cache, 2.90GHz)
Genuine MS Windows® 8.1 64-Bit Edition
16GB Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 2 X 8GB
500GB Samsung 840 EVO Series mSATA3 SSD - as an OS Drive (Primary Drive C)
750GB 7200rpm SATA2 Hard Drive
6X BD-R Blu-ray Burner/8X DVD±R/2.4X +DL Super-Multi Drive & Software
3 Year Warranty & Free Shipping
Approx- $2600.00

I'm not a gamer but plan to use this for animating and designing in the Adobe Design Suite. I will run benchmarks once it arrives. Does anyone know of any free benchmark software I could run??

Thanks!

Wow nice! I actually decided on the MSI Dominator, typing on it right now 😀. Only things i dislike, cooling, always have to use the turbo boost when gaming on ultra which keeps temps around 80, and the screen is washed out compared to my ASUS monitor, but overall a wonderful laptop, great battery life, up to 8hrs. For benchmark software try 3D Mark 11, and the Heaven benchmark. I also use MSI Afterburner to monitor my temps while in games using the on-screen display. Since you are just animating/designing temperatures shouldn't be an issue.

ohh nice! I considered an MSI configuration with a 3K display but I ended up deciding against the 3K because it's drains the battery and went for the Sager because of the configuration was cheaper. What is your configuration? I'm hoping the monitor on the Sager isn't washed out because I am using it for design but I'll post a review once it arrives. :)

Planning on doing a review myself soon :). I believe the Sager actually comes with a better display so you shouldn't have to worry. Also what happened to that $1,200 budget? 😛 but I got mine with the stock config, i7 4810MQ, 870M, 8gb ram, 1TB HDD, standard DVD drive, standard warranty. It's been working great, and I've been treating it like a baby haha.

Just received my Sager this afternoon and I'm in the process of installing software now. :) so far it looks rock solid. It feels extremely sturdy and as far as the display goes...I've seen better but it's gorgeous. I will post pics soon.

Yeah, I stepped out of the $1200 budget but the base configuration is around $1200. I need this for heavy editing work and other work so I had to break the bank. Hopefully it performs well for many years to come.

Cheers!
