MSI GT70 Not Charging but Charger Recognized

Hi everyone, so I have my laptop plugged in, running windows 8, and it doesn't charge. The laptop's power button turns orange when I plug the charger in, indicating it's plugged in, but the battery isn't charging and is still draining. I have no clue what's going on, i've restarted, taken the thing apart, everything. Any ideas?

Update: Laptop Dying in 30 minutes, not the cord, still has power throughout, just shocked myself... Please help

Laptop charger is probably damaged. RMA?

No, I just checked the charger by making a circuit with it, it's fine, something internal

Then the jack is probably damaged and shorting to the casing. RMA it.
