Question MSI GT72 2QE: Dedicated GPU only works on ac power

So i have an MSI GT72 and it has built in intel graphics and all is good but when i switch to my GTX 980m the laptop instatly looses power unless i have the ac charger connected. I have replaced the battery but the issue is till present and was wondering if anyone has a fix. Running latest and only bios version and Windows 10 Pro latest update (Build 1903)

Are you on the latest BIOS update for your laptop's motherboard? You might want also want to mention which version of Windows 10 you're currently working with.

Running latest bios and latest Windows !0 Pro 1903 build
