Hello,

I recently bought a MSI GT730 2GB DDR3 128Bit Video Card.

My computer is:

My board is emaxx
8gb (2x 4gb) ddr3 memory
windows 7 64bit
500gb hdd

Whenever i insert the video card, and plug the monitor there, it only gets me to the Emaxx page and thats it.
Whenever the video card is inserted, and i plug the monitor in the motherboards built in, i get nothing.
but whenever i remove the video card and use the built it, theres no problem

Please help

Please try this:

Upgrade your bios to the latest version. And reinsert the card correctly. See if any option for PCI-X16 socket is present in the Bios menu on order to Enable and Disable it. If it is, then enable it.

There may be an option, check whether what type of graphics have been selected in the BIOS menu
If it is On_Board Graphics, then change it to PCIE.

Hi thanks for the reply. I am yet to update my bios, but as for the primary graphic selection, my bios is already at PCIE instead of IGD.
