This card is getting hot. i have k58 case with 2 coolers(140 and 120 mm). At almost every game its around 69-73 celsius on avrage while in reviews and YT videos i see its max 66c at most cases on auto fan curve and 59 at 80%.

Mine has always the same temps. it doesnt matter if i set all my fans 100% and 80% for video card with msi(i dk why it cant hit 100% with this program) it shows same temp. For example in witcher 3 when power draw is around 85%(cot cpu usage, but power draw) temp is 72 c, no matter if fans spin auto 55% or manual 80%)

And on top of that it looks bended in my case when i set it in my asus z170 pro gaming mothrboard.

Should i return this card?

Are they using a proper, closed case in these review or an open test bench?

The GTX 1060 has a stock temperature target of 83°C. That should be the temperature threshold you should aim for. Anything below that is more than safe.
And even that is not crazy, since there are ways to increase it. I still remember my old 8800 GT that climbed up to 103°C while gaming.
Todays cards are far below anyting problematic. The used materials should easily resist temperatures of over 120°C and start limiting their speed long before that.
Unless the card clocks itself below its advertised boost speed you are pretty fine. (and should ony have issues when the card can't hold it's non-boost clock because of thermal issues. After all, that is the performance nVidia is guaranteeing.

I habe the MSI Gaming X myself and it easily reaches a boost clock of around 1930 MHz (Thats circa 150 MHz over the advertised speed) without any issues or annoying levels of noise.

it hits 70c even with manual 86% fan curve and its very loud at this speeds. 70+ isnt normal for this card and constant temps above 66c shorten lifespan of the card. If i would be fine with 70+c temps i would buy some founders edition for 75% price of this overpriced MSI and above all msi support refuses to exchange my card.

BTW> it even overheats in idle. watching some twitch vid, 620/200mhz, 15% load and it hits 48-51celcius, lol.
