Should my memory clock only be at 4050? (This is reported in MSI afterburner while running heaven benchmark etc or playing games)

Temps are around 66 on the GPU while running heaven benchmark extreme.

Solution
The memory is GDDR5. DDR stands for Double Data Rate. So some programs report the speed it runs while others GPU-Z reports the half speed. Everything is functioning fine. Also there is a trial version of 3Dmark available on Steam.

No free tools to see? Firestrike requires 3dmark right?
GPU-Z reports 2027 mhz memory clocks ...

Ty for taking the time to explain :)

My confusion is that when buying the card, it's advertised "8000mhz memory clock" and not a single program anywhere I've used has shown that =P GPU-Z shows 2027, heaven benchmark shows 4054 and msi afterburn shows 4050 --- this 8000mhz is elusive ;p

So basically, I get your point, they all only show "half" or the real number (not the double) .. but then gpu-z shows only a quarter or ... ? ... confusing not to find a single program just showing the goshdarn numbers the vendors advertise haha :)

I am having same issue (where all programs say I am running at half of 8GHz and GPU Z says just over 2GHz. Did you fix it?
