MSI GTX 1080 Armor 8gb OC vs gtx 1070?

The msi armor is $494.99 after rebate on amazon, is it worth it or is this card not to be trusted? I was planning on going for a GTX 1070 but I'm concerned over the EVGA cooling issues despite it reportedly being fixed and other brands for lack of customer service or other issues... I don't care to pay more for OC and my primary concern is temps due to bad airflow in my case.

Even the worst 1080 would be better than any 1070. Which is why it costs more. You should first decide whether you want a 1080 or 1070, and then look at which model in particular.
