Question MSI gtx 1080 Gaming X stock core clocks extremely high

Jan 17, 2020
Hi Everyone,
I just noticed the other day that my MSI gtx 1080 gaming x's stock speeds was over 200 Mhz higher than it said on the MSI website. When I run Heaven Unigine, mem clock is normal at 5005 Mhz, but the gpu clock is 1949 Mhz, running more than 200 Mhz higher than the clock speeds MSI specified. Temps are 60-65C(I have very good airflow in my case), and everything is default in the afterburner settings. There aren't any spiking or sudden fps drops. Voltage is limited to stock. Could anyone explain what is going on?
