MSI GTX 560 Ti Issues with HDMI

Hi all,

I've been using my 560 Ti for the past 4 months and it's served me well.

My setup is a 20" LCD Monitor as primary and a Sharp 60" HDTV as a secondary. This setup works fine for me. However, I took my computer over to a friend's house to play some games, but my friend's TV was unable to detect any signal from my computer.

What kind of issue is this? I am confused as to why I was unable to use HDMI as a primary monitor.

i have a similar problem, the nvidia control panel has my tv listed and will say that it is an available display throiugh the hdmi cable but i get no signal on the tv the resolutions are good as many of them are allowed by the tv but im not sure what to do or how to get the picture up, but same problem... tv not getting signal, what is the make of your friends tv?
