MSI GTX 580 Lightning or Lightning Xtreme

Hi all,

I will be purchasing a MSI GTX 580 soon and was wondering if "you" think the extra memory is worth it at 1920x1080. Budget is no issue which is why I am thinking why not just get the LX and have a little future proofing. The only reason I am contemplating the LX is because of Skyrim. Eventually, a high resolution texture package mod will be released which will require more memory, but do you think it will require more than the 1.5 on the Lightning card?

CPU: i7-920
MOBO: eVGA X58 SLi-A1
RAM: 12GB G.SKILL DDR3-1600

It is not worth it unless you are playing at a higher resolution.
