Hi guys, I wanted to ask you a question. I've just got an MSI Gtx 760 Twin Frozr 2gb graphics card, and the card has an 8-pin and a 6-pin power connectors. My psu is an old XFX 600w with 34A on the 12v rail, so it is completely capable of running the card, but the thing is that as it is old, it only has one 6-pin power cable. So I've connected the graphics card using the 2 molex to 6-pin adapter that's included with the card, and the 6-pin to 8-pin converter thats also included with the card. So far it has worked excellent, I have played games like Battlefield 4, Titanfall, Crysis 2, and I've had cero issues, and the card runs at its max 1150 mhz on the core. But I wanted to know if it is ok to use the 6-pin to 8-pin converter, because the 8-pin can give the card more power, so can I damage my card using it the way I have it now ? Am I going to get less performance ? What about overclokcing, am I going to be more limited ? Thanks a lot in adevance !

Yes, you'll get 150W from two molex! Just like regular 8pin cable :)
Sorry for too late response 😀

Hi Ahmadjon ! Thanks for the quick answer ! And if I use an adapter like that one, I am going to get up to 150w, just as if I was using a regular 8-pin cable ?
